Therapy is tailored to you as an individual or your relationship. Everyone is different, moves at a different pace, and can only grow when you are ready to experience change in your life. Our goal in therapy is to grow in acceptance of yourself, and to remove the obstacles in your life that inform you otherwise.
Individual Therapy:
Therapy at its best can help you build confidence in your decisions, increase awareness of your emotions, break out of unhealthy relational patterns, create balance, and establish a safe space for you to discover who you were created to be.
Couples Therapy:
Therapy for couples can help by finding compassion and understanding for one another, learn to listen with intent, strengthen communication and how you relate to each other, learn to identify and express wants and needs. I work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) perspective where I help couples locate patterns that lead to communication breakdowns; Ultimately helping couples get to the root of their pain, build connection and heal from past wounds.
Family Therapy:
Family therapy can be beneficial as it can mend ruptured relationships with family members, create healthy boundaries, help to increase empathy, learn tools for harmonious living, work through transitions together, and promote nurturing relationships for generations to come.
