What is the process for starting counseling?
I recognize that making the decision to seek support is a big one. I want to make the process as easy as possible for you.
Call me at (949) 381-1446. Please leave your name, number, a brief message and a good time to reach you. I will call you back (usually within 24 hours, if not sooner).
This will be the time for you to ask questions and briefly outline what it is you would like to address in therapy. We will then schedule your first/intake appointment. If you would prefer to email me, please fill out the contact form located under the contact tab.
What is your fee?
I understand that therapy is an investment of both time and money, that is why our first session together is free of charge. The first session is a time to get to know you and what it is that brings you to therapy. It is also a good way to get to know me and see if we believe that our work together may produce the results you are looking for in therapy.
I never want finances to be a barrier to therapy, therefore a limited number of reduced fee slots are available based on a financial need application.
How often will we meet?
Your session will be reserved for you at the same time every week, unless otherwise arranged.
Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance, but can provide you with a superbill/receipt to submit to your insurance company.
As insurance companies differ in their policies, please verify your plan's mental health benefits for out-of-network Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providers.
What if I miss an appointment?
Please contact me in advance should you find yourself unable to attend your session. If the session is not cancelled with at least 48 hours (2 day) notice, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
Are there any forms to fill out?
Yes, I will provide them to you during the consultation.
